Today’s job market is not the same as the job market I grew up with and the job market my parents and my parent’s parent’s knew and loved. With the recent economic debacle in the US and the increasing globalization of previously American jobs, we have either learned to adapt or lower the standard of living our elders and senior members of our society enjoyed.

Through the shift in economy, down-sizing and telecommuting technologies we have created and otherwise opened our minds to a more casual and not quite as structured “work at home” atmosphere which has provided a shift in thinking and a potentially more flexible and self-directed schedule for many who have embraced, either by necessity or free will, the new work at home culture.
